Elections — balloting throughout the session.
A central piece of the 2026 session is the election of North Georgia's clergy and lay delegates to the 2028 General Conference and the Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference. Clergy elect clergy delegates; lay members elect lay delegates, in equal number.
Balloting opens Thursday with a voting demonstration and Ballot #1, and reporting/balloting continue across every business session.
Session Six (Friday, 7:30 pm) is a dedicated voting session, subject to cancellation if voting has already concluded.
The newly elected delegation meets immediately following adjournment on Saturday.
Self-nominated lay candidate information appears in the handbook (report 900), and a Lay Candidate Forum is held Thursday morning before the opening session.
