CBOT

Holds and oversees the real property and other assets entrusted to the conference, including the United Methodist Center in Duluth, the episcopal residence, and the property of closed and discontinued churches. Net proceeds from closed-church property flow into the Barnes Fund. The Board reports for information; property resolutions are taken up as floor business.

¶25122512 · Conference TrusteesEach annual conference may be incorporated in its own name if permitted by local law. It shall have a board of trustees, which shall consist of twelve persons — it is recommended that one-third be clergy, one-third laywomen, and one-third laymen (¶ 610.5).
