Africa University (AU) reports strong 2025 growth: it graduated its largest class ever (622 students from 20 African countries) and welcomed its most diverse incoming class (students from 30 nations). Students study in four colleges, a law school, and two institutes on a debt-free campus. Highlights include a self-funded solar plant supplying 100% of campus electricity, a new collaboration with the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health, expanded applied-research partnership with UMC Global Ministries on agriculture and malaria, media training with United Methodist Communications, and the law school's moot court team representing Africa at a 2026 world competition in the UK.
AU urges congregations to maintain Africa University Fund support at the 2016 budget level, work toward 100% funding, and consider becoming a "Keystone Congregation" by committing $7,000 annually to support one undergraduate student.
