Aldersgate Homes/Collinswood serves the disabilities community in North Georgia through advocacy, education, and recreation, working with churches and individuals to create welcoming communities for people of all abilities. Its Collinswood retreat center on Lake Oconee offers fully accessible cottages, a dining/meeting hall, pavilion, boathouse, gazebo, and dock, used in 2025 for confirmation, youth, and adult retreats. The Marian Wilder Award recognizes churches that create accessible programs and facilities.
Aldersgate Homes is hosting the Annual Conference "We Are Able" 5K on Saturday, June 20 at 7 a.m., with proceeds supporting its ministry; a conference-wide offering is held in October. The report gives thanks for 35 years of support. Submitted by Lindsey Solomon.
