In 2025 the Advocacy Committee pledged to "amplify advocacy" across the North Georgia Conference. It established an advocacy web page (ngumc.org/advocacy) and gave team members access to Church and Society's Building Power Together advocacy toolkit and the 2025 Faith & Facts Cards. The committee participated in GBCS's Grace over Greed webinar and campaign, continued anti-death-penalty awareness (including Georgians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty Day at the Capitol and GFADP's vigil for life), and supported calls to action on environmental justice, Medicaid expansion, SNAP funding, poverty elimination, and gun safety. Chair: Pamela Perkins Carn.
