Faith Connection Federal Credit Union began in 1960 serving North and South Georgia UMC pastors; its charter has expanded to clergy, staff, and laity across Georgia, Florida, and southern Alabama, with over 3,000 members. It reports steady growth in credit card, auto, and home equity loans, with credit card balances near $3 million, auto loans of $7 million, and $2.5 million in secured home equity loans. The credit union gave back to eight annual conferences through scholarships, sponsorships, and donations (including UMCOR and Methodist children's homes). Every United Methodist is eligible for membership.
