The North Georgia Conference Housing and Homeless Council (HHC) supports congregations serving those experiencing poverty and homelessness through education, advocacy, and capital and operational grants. Citing HUD data of an estimated 12,290 people experiencing homelessness on a given night in Georgia, the Council awards grants twice a year. In 2025 it awarded $100,400 in grants to twenty-one ministries across all five districts (2025 grantees at nghhc.org/2025-grantees).

The annual Homeless Offering (fourth Sunday of February) raised $74,593 from 73 local churches in 2025—a 26.5% increase over 2024—with 100% returned to communities through grants; the balance of need was covered by the endowment. The Housing Trust Fund, invested with the Georgia United Methodist Foundation, ended the year valued at $1,902,429.72. Director: Stacey Rushing; Chair: Brian Hooker.

2025 capital grant recipients (204.a) included Clifton Sanctuary Ministries ($10,000), Family Promise Hall County ($10,000), Habitat for Humanity–DeKalb ($5,000), Helping Hands of Paulding County ($10,000), Impact 46 ($10,000), Ivy and Roses Community Fund ($5,000), Rainbow Community Center ($10,000), and Rainbow Village ($10,000).
