Wesley Woods

405 · 2026

Wesley Woods creates communities of connection, well-being, and promise for older adults. In the past year it provided more than $1,400,000 in rent or meal assistance and chaplains made more than 12,000 connections with residents and families.

Wesley Woods' mission is to create communities of connection, well-being, and promise for older adults, which it has done for 72 years with support from the Mother's Day Offering, church budgets, and endowments. Noting that older adults are the fastest-growing segment of the homeless population, Wesley Woods provided more than $1,400,000 in rent or meal assistance this past year to residents who outlived their resources or needed help with higher levels of care.

Chaplains in each community offer pastoral care—worship, Bible study, prayer groups, and choirs—providing more than 12,000 connections with residents, families, and care partners last year. Wellness programming helps residents remain in independent living longer, and the Masterful Moments program builds dementia-care empathy and skills among staff. President & CEO: Terry Barcroft; Foundation President: Diane Vaughan.
